Beating Spanish 21
In preparation for adding Spanish 21 to the Boris for Blackjack Simulation Software (See: http://www.borisbj21.com/Page2/page2.html) I have been studying the game on my home Blackjack table.
As you may know, the 10-cards (but not the faces) are removed from each deck in this game in exchange for a number of "advanced" Hit/Split/Double/Surrender options and numerous "bonus" payoffs. This game also includes a match-Card side-bet.
Instinct (as well as my practice play) suggests to me that there are a number of ways to beat this game. My current method involves combining the Boris APC with Boris' Clump-evaluation method. The results look promising so far.
Has anyone come up with ideas for beating Spanish 21?
Inquiring modems want to know!
